This was a really cool project because I was able to hone in on mostly all of my photography/ editing skills/ styles except landscape. I had no issues with this project other than the sheet "station" because it required collaborative group effort. I especially like the image of my friend Jake with the mirror because of the balance it has. I wish I could have done the "head in a jar" one better to make it more spooky, but overall this was a really fun project.
I was really looking forward to this project because I remember seeing last year's AP kids doing it. I was able to get creative with trying to capture a surfer refracted within the glass container, as well as experimenting with different angles and how they changed the overall image. I had no difficulty capturing the photos, but it was risky having water in front of an expensive computer.
I did not face any difficulties photographing this project. The only thing I did not like was the very limited pleasing locations our school provides. I wanted to get a cool background originally, but I think it turned out okay. I knew I was going to have fun with this as I remember seeing projects from the previous year's students. I am overall proud of the shot I ended up with as it effectively portrays one of my favorite hobbies, lacrosse.
